“CineMagic 2014” draws near and the Golden Plains Recreation Center (GPRC) Board of Directors and facility management team wanted to share details about this once-a-year event and extend our personal invitation to purchase your table today! CineMagic 2014 will be held at the Peerless Center on Saturday, November 1, 2014, beginning at 5:00 in the evening!

So, what’s for dinner? We are pleased to announce that we’ve secured the exemplary services of R & B Catering! Allyn Robinson always does a fantastic job and the GPRC Board of Directors is delighted to have his culinary skills providing the meal for you! Menu items include: 12 oz. Prime Rib fillet (including au jus and horse radish) or Bone-in-split Grilled Chicken Breast, Mashed Potato, Sweet Kernel Corn, Seasoned Green Beans, Spinach & Ramone Salad, dinner roll and an assortment of cheese cakes for your after dinner delight! We need to have your entrée choice, with reservations, no later than Wednesday, October 15, 2014! Don’t delay, call today!


As has become our tradition, we’re planning a live auction, between the banquet and the production by the Phillips County Players! We’re still seeking donated items for that, so if you’re of a mind to do something along those lines, please contact a GPRC Board Member or the Peerless


The more important (and just plain FUN!) element of this event is your table theme! Our past events have been an exciting and wonderful collection of costumed movie characters! When you purchase an entire table, you and your guests get to choose a movie title to “theme” your attire after! The GPRC Board of Directors and the Peerless Staff are pleased to be providing your wait-staff at this year’s event and we’ve chosen M*A*S*H* as our theme! On the reservation form, you’ll find a place to let us know which title you’ve selected! Be creative, have fun, but be sure and dress up or you’ll miss out!


A table of eight for this event is $1,000.00. Should you desire to come as an individual, single-chair tickets are $150, while couple tickets are $250. Don’t wait for us to call you, call us so that you don’t miss out on this great event! Remember, this is our only major fundraiser for GPRC and the Peerless Theatre!
